A word to those who come here: this site is updated only very rarely, and primarily serves to let people know how to contact me.  My most relevant coordinates may be found below.  A brief introduction:  I am a biostatistician at The Johns Hopkins University, working primarily on infectious diseases around the world.  Vaccines, HIV, Tuberculosis, and vitamin A are my major areas of application.

My primary appointment is as a Professor in the Department of International Health, and I have a joint appointment in the Department of Biostatistics.
